All our pitches are on grass, 46 of which have electrical hook ups.
 Our shop, which is open 7 days a week, stocks fresh, frozen and canned foods, groceries, milk, bread, newspapers, camping equipment, a variety of games, toys and souvenirs, local produce, and has a license to sell wines and beers. An ice pack service is run from the shop.
The newly refurbished toilet block is bright and pleasant, and houses showers and toilets, hot and cold water to all wash basins, hair drier in the ladies, shaver points in the gents plus underfloor heating for the cooler months. There are also separate facilities for the disabled, a family shower room and a chemical toilet disposal point. Constant attention is paid by the owners to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
 The laundry provides automatic washing machines and spin and tumble driers. Ironing and baby bathing facilities are available. The laundry room is where you will find a wide range of information on local attractions and activities to help you make the most of your time at the Red Shoot.
An undercover area is provided with hot water at sinks and drainers for dish-washing. You will need your own washing up bowl as sink plugs are not supplied.
The play area has recently been upgraded and includes a sandpit, rope climbing frame and activity castle with firemans pole, rope bridge and swing bridge.
Dogs are most welcome, but of course must be kept on leads and not allowed to foul in the site.

 To enable you to explore the beauty of the New Forest by bike, we have a number of well maintained adult and child mountain bikes for hire.
