EV Charging

The UK looks set to be getting ready for a full-blown electric vehicle revolution, and here at The Red Shoot Camping Park, as part of our journey to Net Zero, and to support those of you who have already switched over to electric or hybrid vehicles, we have recently installed two tethered, type 2, universal 7 kW EV charging points.  Just ask at reception, and one of our wardens will help you to get connected.  We are unable to do fast charging, as our 2-phase electric supply doesn’t provide enough power, but you are very welcome to leave your car on charge overnight for a slow trickle charge.  We charge per kWh at the end of your charge period.
