For those looking for a more rustic yet equally luxurious experience, our shepherd’s huts offer a cosy and charming alternative. These stylish, converted huts provide a comfortable living space with a double bed, seating area, and a small kitchenette, all set against the peaceful backdrop of the New Forest. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of comfort.

The Bothy and The Drey are our unique shepherd’s huts, perfect for those seeking a cosy and functional glamping experience. Each hut features:

• Sleeping Accommodation: The main sleeping area includes a comfortable 4’ 6” double bed with a cosy mezzanine bed above, accessed by a ladder, which is perfect for up to two children under the age of 10. Both beds are equipped with mattress protectors and bottom sheets, but guests will need to bring their own bedding and pillows. Storage drawers under the main bed are available for your bags and clothes, and each bed has a reading light for bedtime relaxation.

• Living Space: At the opposite end of the hut, you’ll find a table and bench seating for four people, with additional storage under the bench seats for your belongings. The huts also feature heating to ensure a comfortable stay during the cooler months.

• Kitchenette: Both The Bothy and The Drey come equipped with small appliances like a fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle, as well as crockery, mugs, glasses, and cutlery. We also provide some basic cooking equipment, including plastic bowls, knives, and a chopping board, so you can enjoy simple meals during your stay. A washing-up bowl and tea towel are also provided.

• Outdoor Area: Outside each hut is a gravel parking space for one vehicle and an undercover patio area with a bench, table, and seating. While we don’t provide BBQs, guests are welcome to bring their own, and BBQ tools are provided for your use.

• Facilities: Since our huts are located on the main camping park, you’ll have easy access to the underfloor-heated shower and toilet block, which includes accessible facilities and a family bathroom. There’s also an outdoor area at the main facility block for washing up. For your convenience, our laundry room has washing machines, dryers, and a sink for hand washing. Our well-stocked shop is open 7 days a week and offers anything you may need or may have forgotten to bring, including newspapers, fresh baguettes, croissants, and other essentials.

• Pet-Friendly: The Bothy and The Drey are both non-smoking, but dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at just £4.50 per night, so your furry friends can join you for the adventure!
